"Judging people based on stereotypes is just plain lazy. " This laziness comes from the education system. From a very young age, as young as 8 years old, teaching children and going on and on and on till teenage, to regard doctrinal assertions as literal and absolute truth undermines their capacity to honestly question their premises. As adults, they then always seek out simplistic answers and feel uncomfortable with paradox and open-ended enquiry. Result, laziness and using stereotypes in conversations, all the time.
